■ Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned, and facilitate students’ learning by promoting fun and interactive classes through our online or offline platform (up to 10 students/class)
• Each lesson is 140~150 minutes (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing, Grammar)
• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use OUR CUTTING-EDGE technology to facilitate learning
• Submit personalized written feedback to each student within 24 hours of class completion
• Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending workshops and getting training provided by the company
• Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and staff

■ Requirements

• Be eligible to legally work in Korea, US, or Canada
• Completed bachelor’s degree or higher
• Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills
• Creative and energetic
• Have digital literacy and the ability to lead an engaging learning atmosphere
• Preferred: Degree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education
• Preferred: Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the company’s policies and procedures

■ Workhours

• Teachers may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed.
• Regular working hours are:
Monday-Friday: 2:30~9:10pm or 3:30~10:00pm (Teaching hour: average 5 hours per day)
Saturday and/or Sunday: upon mutual agreement (Finish before 3:30pm)
Additional summer/winter time slots are available.
Other time slots may be possible upon mutual agreement.

■ Job Options

• Option 1 (teaching 2nd~6th graders, English only class)

– Fun and interactive bilingual (Korean/English) teachers with passion and love for children
– Fluent native English speakers with conversational level of Korean language
– A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required / a master’s degree in TESOL preferred
– Two years of teaching experience in Korea required
– Teaching experience of TOEFL(4 sections)/ Debate/ Grammar preferred
– Online class experience preferred
** Applicants already in Korea only

• Option 2 (teaching 7~9th graders, American Curriculum Class conducted in English)
– At least 2 years of experience in teaching middle/high school students and counseling with their parents
– Two years of experience in teaching TOEFL(4 sections)/ Debate/ Critical Thinking Discussion preferred
– Interactive and academic teachers with passion and love for students
– Fluent native English speakers with conversational level of Korean language
– A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required / a master’s degree in TESOL preferred
– Online class experience preferred
** Applicants already in Korea only

• Option 3 (teaching 7~9th graders, Test Prep Class conducted both in English and in Korean)
– Two years of experience in teaching middle/high school students and counseling with their parents
required
– Two years of experience in teaching TOEFL(4 sections)/ TEPS(4 sections)/ 내신문법 required
– 고등부(수능/내신) 수업 경험자, 입시(자기소개서/학생부관리) 지도 경험자 우대
– Interactive and academic teachers with passion and love for students
– Fluent native or near-native English speakers with native level of Korean language
– A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required / a master’s degree in TESOL preferred
– Online class experience preferred
